Golub, Senitt, Rosenberg & Co. has a long history of servicing the Los Angeles community, including Burbank and Pasadena. As Burbank accountants, we have been in business for over 60 years. First situated in the San Fernando Valley and later moving to its current location in Glendale in the San Gabriel Valley, our clientele has been primarily focused around the agricultural industry, taking care of all vertical aspects of that business. This has included citrus and other fruit groves, packing plants, fruit sales, and packing materials.

Also working as leaders among Pasadena accounting firms, the firm has worked with all aspects of the accounting cycle including month-end work to close out and give financial reporting and advice to clients. We also provide year-end compilations and reviews for external investors and third-party interests. Individual, partnership, corporate, and estate tax work is done by the firm. Budgeting and forecasting to help with tax planning and future expectations are also done by GSR. 

We have experience in many different accounting software programs, but among CPAs Los Angeles, we have found that for most of our clients, QuickBooks is sufficient for their needs and we are very familiar with that program. We are among the CPA firms in Los Angeles who provide advisory services, an important part of our practice helping our clients grow and analyze financial information.

About The Principal Of Our Firm

David Rosenberg, the principal of the firm, has had a long history as a leader among Glendale CPAs. He began his career working for local CPA firms in all aspects of the accounting field. He moved from there for the next twenty years to increasing responsibilities of controllership and CFO roles in the apparel, restaurant, design, and medical fields. 

The companies he worked with were small businesses to multi-billion sized companies running their financial functions and learning how to help businesses grow. They needed the best among accounting firms in LA. Much of the experience was particular to the private equity business and there was a large focus on growth and mergers and acquisitions. Finally, he decided to take that experience and bring it back to the public accounting realm and purchased Golub, Senitt, Rosenberg & Co. at the end of 2018.

David began as a CPA working in tax, audit, and write-up work for over five years. David then transitioned over to private industry, working for twenty years in increasing levels of responsibility as a controller and CFO. His primary work experience was in restaurant, apparel, and manufacturing industries. David’s incentive for the purchase of Golub, Senitt, Rosenberg & Co. was getting back to helping clients grow their businesses.

The Services We Provide

Golub, Senitt, Rosenberg & Co. provide a full suite of CPA and advisory services. Everyone needs to file their taxes so we can take care of individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns. Many companies have loans and outside investors and are required by their third-parties to provide compilations, reviews, or audits, all performed by our firm. Smaller companies do not have the size to hire a full time senior finance professional, our firm can serve as a surrogate and provide month-end closes, financial analysis, and budgeting.

Most CPAs have worked their whole life in the profession and do not have the in-depth experience of actually working in an outside company. Our firm provides that insight. We partner with you and understand the challenges small businesses are facing. Secondly, we pride ourselves on service and if there are questions or concerns, they will be responded to promptly. Finally, we run lean, tech-friendly, and efficient – there is no bloated bureaucracy like many CPA firms. Your work will come in, and we’ll get it out quickly.

We have experience in QuickBooks, Quicken, Full Circle, Microsoft NAV, PeopleSoft, Epicor, and Sage ERP. We are pretty tech-savvy and can work with most systems with minimal amount of ramp up time. Many of our customers work in QuickBooks which allows for consistency of process regardless of customer.
